Class Notes: Spring Break
Hello friends.
I came down with a cold on Tuesday last week, and yesterday was the first day I left my apartment. Needless to say, my break has been less than productive. Oh well.
In any case, I apologize for not posting before this. I'm going to finish writing some thoughts today and tonight, and post them tomorrow--just basic ideas about the third essay, and how to form some arguments, and how to approach the process.
About a half-dozen of you contacted me with ideas for your essay. I strongly encourage the rest of you to do the same, but with only five days left before class I also suggest you just focus on producing something coherent for next week.
Again, I reserve the right to scrap whatever draft you give me if I feel it's not appropriate to the assignment. Remember to build your argument from the texts we've read, rather than pull ideas out of the air and fit the texts to them.
